twisted sinnet bracelet
Hi it's me again and here is a project I just completed for my wife.  It is a twisted sinnet bracelet with a lanyard/diamond knot for a clasp.  I saw it online and thought I'd give it a try.  It looks nice and thick and the pattern looks like dna.  That was what I was told by people who saw it.

Here to the left are some pictures i took of it.  The first is what it looks like open.  The second picture is of the lanyard / diamond knot. Which I used to lock into the loop.  The third picture is of the loop and that completes the clasp.  Finally the last picture is of the bracelet as it looks when you have it clasped together in a loop.

Well that was my project for this week and if you have any questions about it you can leave a comment below.  I will be posting how to instructions and pictures soon.  I hope you found this interesting and see you on the next project.

Making A Cross Or Crucifix....

I was looking for a way to make a cross or crucifix that i had seen people wear when i was a kid. It took me a while, not knowing much about knots at the time. I finally figured it out and here are two examples of crosses/crucifixes that i have made.

The large cross was made with a 3mm utility cord that i gutted.  The smaller one was made with a lanyard craft lace. Didn't take much time to make once I knew how.

If you would like to know how i did it, let me know in the comments. Otherwise look for how to do it in a future post on this blog.

Thanks again to those who like knots and crafts. Leave comments or questions and I will get back to you......much luck in your next project.

Hello, I am a liker of crafts. I started this blog to hopefully make it easier for people to find what they are looking for in the knotting world. There are many different kinds of knots and they have many uses. I enjoy creating things.
As prompted by my wife to do something with myself. Being that I lost my job and have time on my hands. I thought I would try to make a place where people can share there craft of knot making.
Helping one another is something that everyone should want to get involved in. So any comments you have on knotting can be made here or questions you may have. I will post pictures of things i have made. Nothing to difficult. Just things that I thought looked nice. If you have any pictures of projects you have done please feel free to post them with your comments.
This is my first attempt at a blog and discussion is welcome.
